Potato starch is used in food production as thickening and filling agent, fat substitute, carriers of flavorings, stabilizer of emulsions and for water binding. Potato starch is characterized by its white color, a neutral taste and a high viscosity. Potato starch is used in the production of meat products, pasta, snacks or baked goods and for bindingsoups and sauces. Potato starch is naturally gluten-free.

Rice starch is often used in the food industry in the production of baked goods and sweets as well as thickeners in sauces and soups. Rice starch is used in particular in the production of gluten-free products. Rice starch improves the taste and is naturally gluten-free.

Corn starch is suitable as a thickening and binding agent for sauces, soups, puddings and creams, as a separating agent for grated cheese or icing sugar and as a baking ingredient for cakes, pies, biscuits and pastries. Corn starch can also be used in breadcrumbs for meat or fish products. Corn starch is naturally gluten-free.

Wheat starch, due to its excellent baking properties, is mainly used in the production of bakery products. Wheat starch is also available in a gluten-free version for the production of gluten-free baked goods.
